Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) from Coast Guard Sector Northern New England.  This deals with high intensity LED lights and how they can affect the the ability of of a vessel to keep a proper lookout and mask the running lights of a vessel.  Please read it.

Due to the impending removal of buoy 14M off Monhegan Island, the pilot boarding area for vessels arriving at Penobsccot Bay from the west has been moved to 43-46.6'N 069-22.6'W.  The recommended route has been extended to the new boarding area.  Please click here to see the boarding area.
